January 2026
mynd, a leading provider of high-end e-learning, video production, and animation, is proud to announce that it has won at the eLearning Journal Awards 2026 in the category Blended Learning. The award recognizes the company’s collaboration with the Prevention Center for Behavioral Addictions, Berlin, to create a learning experience that addresses an increasingly important social challenge.
The awarded solution supports educational professionals in identifying early signs of emotional distress among children whose families are impacted by behavioral addiction, including excessive smartphone use. The project equips learners to respond with clarity, care, and confidence.
What made the project award-worthy
A storytelling approach that builds awareness and empathy
The narrative is presented from the perspective of a daycare educator, allowing learners to spot subtle shifts in children’s behavior and understand their underlying emotional impact.
An AI-crafted visual world designed for sensitive topics
Instead of real-life footage, the team used AI to create warm, abstract, and easily relatable environments. The training features an AI-avatar protagonist who guides learners through both emotional and practical decision-making steps.
The result is a learning experience that remains accessible and immersive while honoring the complexity of the subject matter.
